Summer time and the living is easy

Summer conjures up images of fresh fruits and vegetables at Farmers markets, backyard BBQ's, camping in the redwoods, and being lazy along the river. Summer is not complete without those refreshing and fruity drinks that cool immediately and tingle the taste buds. Aside from those glistening pitchers of lemonade, mojitos or sangria, summer is also the best time for those sweet summer brews from your favorite brewery.

Boonville, which is located north of San Francisco about 70 miles on the 101 highway, offers a Summer Solstice Beer from it's local brewery Anderson Valley Brewing Company. Cerveza Crema gets its name from the sweet vanilla toffee creaminess flavor that will not go un-noticed. Tasting like a mix between a light ale and a cream soda, this beer is perfect for warm weather.
This is by far my favorite beer of the summer. After summer is gone, and the beer is no longer offered after September, I will think fondly of this beer and reminisce about warm summer days. Try it, you'll love it!!
